    Susan, are you familiar with the work and words of Lilias Trotter? She was an artist first, then a missionary to algiers in the 1930’s. I’m reading her book ‘Parables of the cross’ right now and the illustrations are stunning.
    She has a painting accompanying this verse, John 12:24, with the spend seed head of a poppy.
    Her work is beautiful, as is yours.
